What IS a database?
A database is a collection of information, sorted out nicely,so you can find what you want.
Much much MUCH better than Googling!



1. PebbleGo has great information about:
Animals, Science, Biographies, and Social Studies

2. Kids InfoBits is a database that has general information on a lot of topics.
This database has more information, and features two different reading levels as wellas different categories of information: Books, Magazines, News. Because of this it can be a bit trickier to use. Choose the articles with the GREEN Dot:

3. Britannica Library Elementaryis another database with information about a lot of different topics.

Make sure to stick with "Article Reading Level 1" If you choose #2,it will take you to the "Britannica Middle School" database.
